Evergreen Collective is a female-led charity with an aim to provide access to a comprehensive and inclusive programme of activities that meet the needs of the female Muslim community in Derby and Burton upon Trent.
We aim to increase health and wellbeing with a holistic approach and inspire and empower other underrepresented communities through education, mentorship, empowerment, extra-curricular
activities and health initiatives.
Expanding health and wellbeing initiatives and events for Muslim women and girls in Derby through organising activities, partnership and consultancy.
Overcome religious and cultural barriers to open up more opportunities and success avenues for women and girls.
We deliver programmes of health & wellbeing and community engagement activities to improve access and influence behaviour change. These have included sports activities, health events, social events to increase mental well-being and improve physical fitness.
Empower and support women to take leadership in their area of interest & passions by providing training for the benefit of their personal development and our communal growth.
Youth mentorship programme for young Muslim girls (aged 11-16 years) to provide opportunities, increase confidence and overcome barriers to inclusion in society.
